Mervin, appointed by Washington County (2020), is the Director of the Center for Business & Economic Research at the University of Arkansas where he has worked for the past 17 years. Mr. Jebaraj brings a strong understanding of the local, national and international economy. He is a frequent speaker on matters involving the Arkansas economy. He is a member of the Board of the National Association for Business Economics. Mr. Jebaraj earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations and his master’s degrees in public administration and public policy from the University of Arkansas.
