Although Tampa has an average of 361 days of sunshine per year, it has never reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Since recording temperatures in the 1800’s, the highest temperature the Tampa International Airport has ever reported was 99 degrees Fahrenheit in 1985.
Tampa is home to the longest sidewalk in the world: Bayshore Boulevard. The sidewalk runs along the bay for 4.5 miles!
